The world first caught a glimpse of Armin van Buuren<\/a> and Jon Bon Jovi’s “Keep the Faith” nearly a year ago at Ultra Music Festival<\/a>, when the legendary rocker himself stormed the stage to debut the track alongside van Buuren. Now, almost a year later, the full-throttle collaboration has arrived.<\/p>\n

Released via Armada Music, the track marks both an unexpected collision of two music titans and a testament to both of their legacies.\u00a0Armin van Buuren approached the project with reverence, knowing the weight of what he was about to reimagine.<\/p>\n

“Reworking this track was an incredible honor on its own, but having Jon Bon Jovi join me on stage at Ultra was a once-in-a-lifetime moment,” he said in a press release shared with EDM.com<\/em>. “Rock music has always inspired me, and I\u2019ve been a Bon Jovi fan for ages, so this was truly special.”<\/p>\n

The original “Keep the Faith,” a defiant rallying cry released in 1992, was built on towering guitar riffs and Bon Jovi\u2019s signature blue-collar grit. But it transforms in van Buuren\u2019s hands, glowing with an incandescent trance undercurrent.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The trance icon himself is no stranger to dance music reinventing some of rock’s most storied classics\u2014his 2019 remix<\/a> of Van Halen\u2019s “Jump” previously proved that guitar-driven classics could thrive under the weight of festival-grade synths, and his latest is no exception.<\/p>\n
