EDM.com: What was it like working with Anyma and Argy to produce “Voices In My Head” and how has your relationship with each artist blossomed?

Son of Son: All I can say is that, despite the industry being a bit shitty sometimes, I just feel total gratitude for everything. Both Anyma and Argy are a huge part of this track. It really was a collaborative team effort. Anyma is the undisputed champion and Argy changed my life forever, man.

We each bring our own perspectives, which makes the process even more dynamic, and I will always be thankful for what he has done for me. It took 13 years for someone to finally give Son of Son a chance, and Argy was the first guy to do it. No one else ever did.

EDM.com: Where did the concept for the track’s vocal sample come from?

Son of Son: I was up late night working as usual and I got the idea to make a track about the creative voices keeping me awake. I had the concept ready in my mind so I started writing a few different phrases about not being able to sleep, or being awake, or hearing voices.

Eventually I came up with the final phrase and used AI to create the voice. Basically the first time I wrote lyrics myself.
